Today, you will upload your edited podcast to each of your blogs.  Ultimately, your podcast will show up on your blog like my message appears below.

Upload MP3s using free MP3 hosting from Tindeck.

Please follow these steps:
1. Create an account at Tindeck.com use your school Gmail account to register.  Use your ID number as a password so it's easy to remember.
2. Add your Tindeck account info to your school sites table located in your Google Docs
3.  Save your podcast in Soundbooth as an MP3.  (Go to file-->Save As and title it finished podcast.  Change the format to MPS)
4. Whichever partner saves the podcast, will need to email it as an attachment to the other partner.
5. The partner will open the attachment and download and save as to P-Drive
6. Once both of you have the podcast you will need to upload it to your Tindeck account.
7. Give it a title, choose your sharing options and save.
8. Scroll to the bottom and copy the code for the player
9. You will then create a blog post under your technology page where you will paste in the embed code for your player.

I will walk you through all of this, but you can always check back here if you miss a step!

Today we will continue recording your interviews using either Audacity, Soundbooth or Garageband. If you are not recording, please be respectful of your classmates and silently view the Copyright, Plagiarism and Fair Use presentation below.  Be sure to take all links and read the definitions, PLEASE take your time with this so you can excel with the quix at the end!

Link to Presentation and Quiz

If you should finish the presentation and quiz, and you are waiting to record, your options are below;

1. Create a Google Doodle! Google's Doodle contest is going on now! Take this link for more information, if it's something you want to try, paper, markers and colored pencils are available in the front of the room.

2. Clean out your gmail account.  If you are receiving unwanted emails, like from OfficeMax, scroll to the bottom of the email and click unsubscribe, then follow the directions.

3. Go to Google Reader and read some of the blogs that you subscribed to, maybe it will give you ideas for your own post.

4. Check out your blog, is there anything you would like to fix?  Double check your grammar, spelling and blog layout.  Want to do another post?  Go for it, but write it in Google Docs and share with me or a classmate to have it proofread first.
