0 Spreadsheets

You will be taking the, “School Spreadsheet Safari” using this link.  You will need to explore the definition, vocabulary, basics, and puzzle tabs of this site.  Once you have gone through those four areas, you will take the quiz.  You will end class by completing a diagram of a spreadsheet using your Google doc (spreadsheets) as a resource.  Spreadsheets are used in many different occupations.  This will be a good introduction to the world of spreadsheets.

0 Substitute Class Friday

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry I am missing you today, but I know you will all be VERY productive and well behaved.  Please follow ALL the directions below so you understand what to do today.

1.  I would like to grade your blog and podcast this weekend.  Please log in to your blog, and make sure you have the following.

**Thiago and Kathy please just check your email from me first before starting

1. A school/ILT page with your podcast and a short paragraph on podcasting
2. Three posts on your choice of subjects with correct spelling and grammar
3. Make sure you have AT LEAST one image with a link where it came from

When you are done, please send me an email at sweeney@mybps.me letting me know you fixed everything and your blog is ready to grade.

2. You will spend the remaining time doing a little research for your team.  Create a new Google Doc tiltled 7C/7D/7A iPad esearch, then MAKE SURE you share this document with me by dragging and dropping it into your ILT collections folder. Use the links below to find information or activities that you could use in class with the iPads.  This is just general facts in your document. SUMMARIZE the article.  Please make sure you DON"T copy and please read everything! You need to create a document with at least 10 things you could use for your team.  This document could help you get to use the iPads in class, because I know all of you will come up with GREAT ideas!

Here are your links; (You can always search in Google for your own stuff)

iPad Live Binder - a collection of web resources about iPads in the classroom.
Digital Administrator - Breaking Ground in Special Education.
The iPad as....  This a rich site full of ways to use ipads and the apps that help you do it.
A document created by Mrs. White with links
Good Luck!  Everyone that I receive documents and emails from will be rewarded on Tuesday
